We're always interested in how other companies ship and package their product, and we're always trying to share what we learn with our customers. Our customers are home delivery companies all over the world who mostly work with fresh produce and groceries. In this post, we'll take a look at how Blue Apron packages their product.

Blue Apron is an online service that provides easy to cook meals with simple recipe instruction cards. Apologies for the blurry pictures here and there, we've learned that we should probably have a tripod.

A couple things to set straight before we get going:

  • any links in this blog post are straight links, no referral links.

  • Kiva Logic is not affiliated or associated with Blue Apron in any way, but we do enjoy their service and product as customers.

  • We are not professional photographers (obviously) so hopefully even the low-quality pictures will help give you an overview of how the box is packaged.

Without further ado here's what the Blue Apron packaging looks like:

It's here! Well branded box with labels that it contains perishables.

Warning! Extreme blurriness. The meat layer had a layer of ice packs above it and below it. The ice packs were still rock solid frozen when we opened the box and the meat was cold.

And that's it! Overall we were impressed with the presentation and the neatness of the pack. Nothing was squished or bruised and the experience of opening up the box was somewhat like opening a present.
