How to change the deadline for a route
Each route can have it's own cutoff time, and it's easy to update the cutoff time for when orders are locked in for the week. You can have a route locked in 24 hours before delivery day, 2 days before delivery day, or whenever else that suits your business operations.
First, go to the Delivery page and click on the "Settings" button at the top right of the screen.
Next, click on the 'Routes' link to view and edit your routes.
Here, you will be able to see an overview of your routes, and what the cutoff time is for each of them. To edit a route, click on the wrench button next to the route.
Finally, just change the cutoff time in the dropdown box under 'cutoff hours before' and then click 'save' at the bottom of the screen.
The cutoff time dictates when the open orders on a route are locked in for the week. This cutoff time is also used in system emails, and on the customer home page to tell the customer how much time they have to make changes to their order before it is locked in for delivery.
